Piran Johnson
As CEO of Sotavento Consulting, Piran leads the firm’s strategic expansion across debt advisory, project implementation advisory, and fixed income and equities brokerage, supporting projects and businesses across multiple sectors including real estate, hospitality, logistics, renewable infrastructure and commercial projects, and SMEs.
Piran Johnson has over 18 years professional experience across the African continent. He has worked on numerous multi-million International projects and brings expertise in the fields of debt advisory, project implementation advisory, and fixed income and equities brokerage. Piran holds a B.A (hons) from the University of Liverpool and holds a certification in Hotel Finance and Asset management from Cornell University.
Wilfred Musau
Senior Partner – East Africa
Wilfred Musau is a seasoned banking and finance executive from Kenya. He has held senior leadership positions at major financial institutions, including Director roles and Managing Director & CEO of the National Bank of Kenya. Mr. Musau has a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from Kenyatta University and advanced banking and strategy training from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. His experience spans commercial banking leadership, corporate financing, and institutional partnerships across East Africa.
